PERLITE 8QT

One of the original soilless mix components used to formulate professional mixes. Made from a mineral that pops like popcorn when heated, forming lightweight particles. As the percentage of Perlite in a mix increases, water retention is reduced and aeration increases. A proper balance of water and air encourages strong root development.
