Organic Non-GMO Rutgers Tomato - Still one of the best! First developed in 1934 by Rutgers University in cooperation with Campbell’s Soup for the New Jersey canning industry. No longer a commercial standard, it is still well loved. Bright red fruits average 6-8 oz, with a small seed cavity and good color throughout. Hearty tomato flavor and meaty texture. Works well for slicing or canning. Widely adapted and crack resistant. Determinate (Lycopersicon esculentum)
